Community Investments
Our Center for Community Health Advancement (CCHA) health educators and community health experts at Marshfield Clinic Health System are committed to enriching lives by helping individuals and communities achieve their best health. Since 2012, CCHA, in collaboration with Security Health Plan, has offered community health grants and stipends supporting local initiatives, program and processes that address community health needs.
Beginning in 2018, CCHA has focused this community investment in ABCS for Healthy Communities. These investments will provide funding and other resources to communities that will help strengthen their ability to influence the health of their residents by reducing and preventing health challenges and health inequities. The ABCS for Healthy Communities framework includes: A) Alcohol and Other Substance Abuse; B) Behavioral Health; C) Chronic Disease; and S) Social Determinants of Health.
